Old Man with a Hat
I am going to see it in the theater. Hopefully.
The Hagerty Ins. magazine I just got in the mail has a great article about this movie and historical documentary of the battle.
I'm going Saturday, first movie in years I have wanted to see on big screen.
My wife and I both read the book and saw the movie. One of the few times the movie was as good as the book.I hate to derail this, but it's on my list of movies to watch over the Holidays, and we just saw "The Art of Racing in the Rain." That was a great movie!
My right foot was awfully itchy after watching this movie.Headed out to see it this afternoon!
'Till you got stalled by the cash boxes aye. I made a run to Ohio on the last day of June this year. Took an hour and 1/2 to get thru' the first one you hit North of Beckley, SHESH. Jer
Yah that kinda cheapened it for me. Where were the likes of Lloyd Ruby or Dan Gurney. Ken only won as Dan pushed his car a 1/4 mile to get across the line. I guess they figure they’ll make a Dan Gurney movie some day so what the heck. Shoulda called it Ken v Beebe Lol!!!Just got back and it was a great movie! What I didn't realize was that the story was going to be more about Ken Miles rather than Shelby.
You were lucky RT. Even the EZ-Pass lanes were snarled up that day. I don't run that way too often anymore but the time before this time the ransom for passage was 3 quarters at each cash box This past June 30th it was 4 Washingtonz each time and it's not been more then 6-7 yearz. WTH? My retirement goes up ah bit every November and I still can not keep up with that hi-way robbery % SHISH. And since 9-11 it ain't fun(more like ah PITA) to get airborne anymore either, Jerpssst.......EZ-Pass
Beautiful day for a “Perfect Lap”.
