For Sale Formal newport

Wow. That is impressive for a 318. Good thing there seem to be lots of 318's out there to use. 318 being the most down talked mopar motor out there has to help a little. I think they are great motors for reliable cars.
I did enjoy that last package. Thanks a ton! Several people have now seen the velour owners manual and are quite surprised that things were "luxury" like that back then. Teachin the youngins. (kinda young).
Aren't crown vic an 80's model of car? Surprising that anything newer than the 70's would still smash up and compare to an old car.

79-2011. The 2003-2011 crown vics are unbelievably strong. Going to take some on this year with a imperial in a more land back stock type class where we can't build them as much so we will see what the outcome is. Crown vics are shorter and more agile than chryslers are and have better steering components than chryslers but the mopars work for me I have a pile of trophies and and checks won with mopars, gm and fords. At the end of the night it's about the last car running not always the toughest car there

Cool. I have only been involved in one derby. We destroyed a 71 pontiac bonneville.
Put the motor in a gto after the derby. Every time I look for a 71 newport windshield I am reminded of smashing the windows and welding the doors of the bonne.

Do you try to smash tires on opposing cars? Stop them in their tracks? Toughest car can't do anything if it can't move.
Just curious of techniques.

Here's an insight on our heavy type builds these days. Stock class is far less than this but still not stock. Is a 69 or 70 newport the same? I have a 69 I think it is but unsure of windshield condition seems every single one is cracked

I do not know that answer. Later, after work, I will make a post asking that question.
It does seem they are all cracked.
My car has one chip right in the drivers eye sight caused by the younger fella that inherited grandpa's car and was driving too close to a semi resulting in a chip.

Will watch that video also, I'm very curious.

I appreciate you working with me on the 73 Imperial. If you ever run into a black one with a gold top and interior, keep me in mind.
Absolutely, i will arrange your rotors and intake fitting at some point Here my friend, I will stay in touch with the guys that have bought and let them know what I have at the moment. I don't get many imperials anymore man i wish I did. I know of one more 69 or 70 imperial but it's BAD RUSTY. I'm trying to get for the stub and 440 of course
