From FB--Some numbers: 26 Fuselage at the camp site, 19 Fuselage at the cruise and countless nice pe

I imagine it would have been quite a spectacle for those along the route as well.

Except for a few idiots, it was! :) Most of the people were amaized and happy, but we had a few who thought it is a good idea to try to pass 19 c-bodys and such stupid things.

Thanks for the look at c-bodies in Germany. I believe the Fuse- c-bodies are the favorite bodystyle there, for whatever reason? Cool, things are not the same everywhere. I really like that silver-ish '72 Newport coupe.

Sorry to say this, but you are too easily offended, my friend... You should create a "Formals Only" meeting and see what happens? I love fusies, but I would cheer for you!

I am not offended, merely voicing my concern in the direction I see the hobby taking. I love these cars and think they look great. I just think it's sad that we are implying that some Cs are better than others is all. No different than the current problem among some in the Charger crowd that deride anything that is not 68-71.

If I had a formals only meet I'd be alone in a parking lot, no doubt!

Well, I'm very glad you're not offended since I respect you a lot... I just hope we all would see why it's not bad to praise (for a while) just one of our great C-body styles!

Georg, Vodka, Carsten and others did a very good job to make a "Never Before" into reality and they have my deepest respect for that. A "Fuselage Only".

In future years, I hope there are conventions for other C-body styles also and the rest of us would be happy for our brothers! This is my sincery hope, not just a saying...

Excuse me and Good Night!

I am back home, too.

It was a great weekend.

Thanks to Georg for organizing it.

Special thanks from me to Julian (VDK) and Dan (ceebuddy) who fixed the power seat switch of my vert building a new switch out a NOS item and the original one.

@MrC: No C-body is better than any other. It is just a question of personal taste. In this case there was the idear for a Fuselage C-only event. If this event would have been organized as an "all C-Body" event it would have been very difficult to do the cruise with 50-70 cars in example.

There might be a slab side only meeting in the near future being done by some other Mopar enthusiasts. No need to worry about anything.
There was a slabside C at the show, too BTW.

Here are some pics from the other Fuselage at the camp ground

Owning a slab side and a fuselage and keeping an eye out for a forward look and a Formal Ill be ready for which ever get together comes my way! I love all Mopars to be honest and I plan to own an example of the entire Alphabet some day A-B-C-D-E-F-R etc! Great pictures I can't imagine getting 19+ C bodies running through the Rockies here but maybe us Alberta boys could get close?

With a few additional qualified pilots, there could be 8 cars just between you, Derek and me. :wideyed: Add in Bill and Terry (1Fury1) and we are already up to 10.

Thanks for posting. Looks like a beautiful place to tour some great wine cellars. This map helps show in which region of Germany the valley is located.

Thanks guys for the nice words. I had a blast too! All the loveley comments and the happy faces were worth all the work and organization involved.

Mr. C, like said before, it's a matter of personal taste AND a matter of manpower. It was actually a three people crew - my girlfriend, my very good firend Daniel Schon and me. We couldn't handle a show for all C-bodies.

I also want to thank all the participants for coming to the show and helping wherever a hand was needed!

Now back to real life, the office is waiting... ;-)

Well done, some amazing Mopar iron along with a beautiful countryside setting. So how are you gonna top this next year?

I would be parked next to you...

With more cars! :) The concept of the little show is different to any other Mopar or car event in general, so I guess quite a few people didn't come because of that. Now they saw what they have missed and how happy all the participants are, which will make it bigger next year. So let's go for 30 Fuselage in 2017! :)
