In all seriousness, a fully restored stub frame rebuilt with all new steering and suspension components would be much sexier.

I have to agree, a shame it has to hide under the car.

Chryslers achilles heel was their sheet metal...

To me, Chrysler's achilles heel was their rear axle. A rigid cart wheel axle w leaf springs was top notch technology... in the 1910's. - Please come up with a period correct De Dion set up, someone. Better yet, a De Dion with air bags. You may start with this:

The more I look at that stub frame in-the-raw, the more ridiculous it seems that anybody can successfully bag it.
Absolutely a fool's errand.

I bet if it came bagged from the factory, everybody would want to put torsion bars in it...

sorry guys, running behind and won't be posting pics and info til Monday or even Wednesday. Been working 2 straight dats and never made it to the shop for the info I needed. I will tell you this, brake sizes are huge and there are TWO types of c-body suspensions avalible.

hey i know this post is old but i was looking at that stub ***'y above ^^ look at the steering centerlink. methinks some has a wrong idler arm or wrong pitman arm. hope its not too late.

Thanks, yeah the pic was taken before pitman arm and steering box was mounted. Moving it around the yard was a PITA!
