Front suspension rebuild?

From my experience I recommend Rare parts lower ball joints and MOOG "problem solver" upper ball joints.

Lawn Guyland Craig is a good source for everything (I don't think he deals in Rare Parts items though) as has already been mentioned.

Rubber lends a soft, cushy feel, poly is firmer, more sporty. But poly can be too hard, on potholes & dirt roads, transmitting shocks, jolts and vibrations to other parts, leading to accelerated wear & tear.

Think long term: How long are you going to keep this car? Are you fixing it up to flip it and bank a buck? Is this your "retirement plan"? Something to pass on to your kids or grandkids? Are you willing to rebuild it again in 10-20 years from now, or do you want to squeeze out another 50 years out of it?

If long term reliability is key, go rubber.
If firm, tighter handling is your goal, poly is the answer.
Twenty years and I will be 91 and I doubt I'll be going under the car then. If I did anything it would be to make it feel similar to the CHP version in 1973 which we all know was rubber. Bigger sway bars are not to be found in junkyards around here. So for me it is for driving on the freeway easily 90% of the time. No rough roads for me to travel over.

Similar to my 67 Parklane which got all new rubber bushings last year but also a 1 1/4" sway bar up front over stock. The rear got all the stamped control arms replaced with tubular arms using poly bushings. Car rides just fine. Equivalent would be rubber up front and poly in the leafs on the Polara. When I pass 90 those cars are on their own.

Look for a 74 or later PC or Wagon
bars are larger than 73 and pre
all 74 and later are larger
I've had the over 1" bars in a 69 polara coupe and a 73 NY work great
both with the cordoba rear sway which is a bolt in
added a leaf in the rear and added plastic interleaves
pc shocks and wheels and tires
