Got a new cam lifters etc, broke everything in within last week and friend had back end up jack to check something and the jack slips and punctures feul tank and now my full tank of gas and many tears are all over garage floor. (Sigh) but like we know with cbody fury's especially 66's replacements are hard to find. All google serches ive tried go up to 65 and start again at 67. What 66 cbody tanks i do find all say in footnote (*not compatible with fury). Sooo, does anyone know of a good supplier or is my best option just going with an aftermarket aluminium tank in the trunk?

Contact these guys, they can repair your tank and coat it so it will not rust out again. They did a great job on my tank, repair and coating.

I always thought that 66, 67, & 68 tanks were the same. It was the 65 with the filler on the quarter panel that was a 1 year only tank. The 66 has the filler behind the license plate like the 67 & 68s. My buddy has a 65 Sport Fury & those are non existent. Luckily his kid brother is a welder / fabricator & was able to save his original tank. Good luck.
