I am new to the Mopar scene and have fallen in love with the 65-68 Fury. Trying to do as much research as possible before asking questions. There are exterior parts from each year that I like. So can I swap exterior parts and they fit? For example I like the 67 grill and hood, and the 68 rear end. Can I swap the 67 parts to a 68? Are they interchangeable like this?

I believe a 67 front end would work on a 68 car. 67s and 68s have different back ends and a different quarter panel. Hoods look the same to me.

I tried the opposite of you, i tried putting a 68 grill and headlight bezles on a 67 front end and it was more work then i thought. For the healdlight bezels, the screw holes are in different locations on the fenders. Also needed a 68 hood release and upper grill support. More work then i needed to do.

Recently in the For Sale section someone posted up a CL ad for a 65/66 Fury with a 1968 Fury front bumper, didn't look to odd.

67 - 68 Furys are pretty much the same from the doors forward so yes, as noted above with all the right parts and making some new holes a 67 Fury grille and headlamp bezels could be installed on a 68 but the 67 parts are harder to find.

They may not be available. There are plenty of used ones out there. I will try to dig out my glass reference book and lookup the NAGS part number as you may find an aftermarket rear window (assume back glass) that someone has.

You are better off swapping the front clip from a 1967 to 1968 if you want a 1967 front on a 1968 car.
