Hello all!
I have bought my first Mopar and It's a Fury III wagon. Some pics, we all love pics :)

Most of the rust you see is "feautina". The PO used a jitterbug sander to wear the paint away. I don't really like it and will work to fix it in the spring. The engine is a 318 2bbl and he runs very well. The wheels are rusted and will be replaced over the winter, as well as the suspension rebuilt, to make it safe to ride.

My current issue is, it has no tailgate glass. The window was broken years ago and never replaced, so my immediate task is to find new glass and make him watertight. I have stopped at a few local glass places, they look at the computer and say it's not available. Who or where might have glass for this car??

Thanks for any help!

I think I have found one and should have my hands on it Friday. Thanks very much for letting me know that you have one.

Very cool find. Restoring a Mopar wagon is a challenge. Wagon specific parts are nearly non existant. Sheet metal, headliner bow locking strips, replacements for rusty tailgates, window seals for rear side glass, weather stripping for tailgate windows, etc. Everything is hard to find. My current project is a 67 Plymouth Belvedere wagon. I started with a different wagon that was actually fairly solid, but the rust it did have was in difficult to repair areas around the rear side glass. So, in April, I bought another wagon with a better body. Its now dismantled and awaiting an opening at the body shop.

I’m not a restoration kind of guy in an overall sense. We have 2 proper restoration projects going as it is in our home shop. A ‘76 - -911 and a ‘67 Mini Cooper.

the Fury will get the attention it needs for now. And probably repainted to repair the feautina done by the PO. I have a 354 Hemi to put in it that we rebuilt 2 years ago. This was the reason I bought the Fury in the first place. I had an engine looking for a project!

This weekend will be the new rear window to make it watertight.

That tailgate looks close to.my 65 New Yorker wagon, I wonder if they are the same?

Jon: Was a pleasure to meet you yesterday I am glad I was able to help you out. Like Jim 68 cuda said finding parts for a wagon is near impossible.i spent a couple months looking for the replacement tailgate for my wagon. Had to go to North Dakota to find a rust free one.the glass you got from me came from that wagon. Jim 68 cuda you might recognize my wagon .it was your friends Tom old wagon.I bought 8 yrs ago from the guy he sold it to.(Greg ). It has become one of the most favorite old cars we have owned.

Yes, I do know that car. It was a pretty nice driver already, but you've made it much better. These days, Tom piles his wife and five kids into their 68 Monaco wagon for family outings and car shows.

Nice looking Monaco Tom has now. He must have bought it after I talked to him @ Carlisle in 2016 he mentioned he should have never sold the 68 Plymouth. I don't recall him saying he had another wagon then.

Tailgate part are very hard to find here in the USA too. I have rust in the bottom of mine and will have to rebuild it over the winter if I can get my daughter to come home and do the welding.
