I was just wondering how elusive a tailgate window for a fuselage Dodge would be? Would a local glass company have access to one? Or would someone have to do some digging?

Edit:
Sooner or later you guys are going to hate my questions. And I still won't have a C yet.

Here is the reason why I asked. Over the last week I've been smitten with a 72 Polara on marketplace. The owner gave the reason for selling it was because of the broken tailgate window.

Take a good look at that car. It's been available for about 4 months. Look at the roof, interior under hood, quarters, body , everything.
The pictures you are showing are poor quality.

If you end up purchasing the 72 Dodge Polara wagon I have a complete tailgate available including nice glass.

Check the “for sale” section it’s listed there. Here’s the link:

Last I heard (year-ish ago) Wildcat wrecking in Oregon had several. I got one from them before that for about 150-200 IIRC. Freight was more than the glass.

Only catch is they are now only selling glass with the full gate assembly and those gates are heavy.
