I guess you could say we're easing into the mainstream. I know its not every bodies favorite Mopar rag but here's a few pages from the latest issue. Number 3 after a 3.5 million dollar Hemi Cuda convertible!

That's a 74 (!!) Gran Fury.
Grrrr....
Lol! Nice catch Stan. I have just looked at the Purdy pictures up to this point. I was going to begin reading once I had the need to sit for a few minutes...:toilet04:

It's hard for MCG to get anything right. But it's great to see those cars getting some ink.

I had a 72 X Michigan State Trooper Fury that was my winter beater when I lived up there. It was a L code 360. Great car. I drove 40 miles one way from Manchester to Livonia and it was fun running the passing lane with the lights on..... Traffic would just peal away in front of me.

I may have to correct myself.
In '74, the Gran Fury (the only Fury model with single headlights) was the top of the line so the cop cars would have been plain Fury's with quad headlights.
In '75, all Fury's were Gran Fury's with single headlights. The moniker "Fury" was handed down to the Satellite line.
Most parts catalogs can't even get it right. Very often you see, "...fits 69-74". WRONG!

And this is today's Formal class. Don't forget there's an exam next time.

Nice to see a "C" in MCG ( Mopar Collectors Guide)!

I believe Mopar Action has featured at least one and I have several issues of Mopar Muscle that have C-Bodies featured. So, it appears we are slowly making some progress. :)

These magazines are dead to me now. A nearly broken-record litany of pandering to B and E bodies. I subscribed one year when I was in university and never renewed because of their myopic scope and limited view.

The only magazine I subscribe to is Collectible Automobile.

Magazines? Those bound pieces of paper with printing and pictures for $6.95+ ??
Pffffffftttt. Seven bucks is two gallons of gas.

I get it for less than 2 bucks a copy so I guess it's worth it.

I can't remember the last time I bought ANY Mopar magazine. I was a long-time subscriber to MCG, Chrysler Power, and Mopar Action. I agree with Matt in that their focus is 99% A-, B-, and E-bodies. The only time they mention a "C" is when they find one to rip the engine and trans out of. Screw that. Over seven years since I even looked at an issue of either of those. Haven't looked back.

Mopar action has done a few articles on c bodys in the last few year's . One of them is on a 68 fury they installed the scarebird disc brake setup on. The other was a formal, they were talking about The rear suspension setup and how to get a better road feel out of it.
