Gaining ground

Actually it's $2.14 here. But the eternal pessimist that I am, I'm keeping the 3.50 figure in my head.

I had a guy come out yesterday, he said fuel in austin, tx was 1.60 a gallon. Our fuel in boerne, Tx is 1.84. Typically Austin is more than us. I was surprised.......

TheTheTheThe truth is that I'm stock piling the $2.00 gas in 55 gallon drums. Then when Hillary is elected and it shoots to five bucks, I'll be stinking rich.

The other day I was thinking about how cool it would be cool to be able to buy futures on gas as simple as paying my local Casey's gas station in increments of $1,000's for 1.94 gas today and pumping it out over the next several months or years.

If they would do that I'd be willing to put several thousand on a card to be used as needed over the next few years

Will never happen.
Been no investment yet that lets the investor come out ahead. Doesn't work that way.

A Saudi prince A-Hole was quoted on the WSJ saying that there will never be a $100 barrel oil ever again. OPEC is flooding the market with crude to keep us (American's) from drilling and producing oil. We can't bring a barrel of oil to market in the U.S. and make money at current crude market prices. In a way I'm glad because all 3 of my cars get 12 mpg on average. On the other hand I'm taking a hit on my 401ks, IRA's, etc.

There a flaw in that theory ........ shelf life of current pump gas is about 6 months. You'll go broke buying Sta-bil.

Thought about that the other day then realized, Duh! Maybe back in the leaded fuel days. $1.93 in Jersey this morning, enjoy it while it lasts, boys!

Hmmm, paid $1.58 here in KS..with my Dillions discount. Normally would be about $1.80. I don't mind the lower gas prices...even if it means lower royalties.
