1973 Chrysler Newport 2-door hardtop. 400 CID V-8, 2 barrel carb. One owner with 59,840 actual miles. Motor in good condition, was run 2 years ago. Needs fuel pump replaced which I have purchased. Vehicle is 40 years old but, is very restorable. Had a white vinyl top which has been removed. The body has no dents and any rust is below the side molding. Don't be afraid of this one. Call for more details. $2,ooo OBO. Please call 863-446-0368, leave a message and I will return your call.

Every time I see the grille to a 73 NY/Newport I am all the more glad I bought my 73 Fury over the NY I could have gotten.

13-14 maybe? 15-16 if it turns out to be drive home?

I'd offer 12-13...that's about it, but I'm not big on the 73's...the infamous cross over year.

Non running 400 car, I'm going with $500-1000 depending on actual shape and if he throws in the grill and the garden hose :).

Ten and work your way up to 15. Whoever pulled off the vinyl top probably saved it from a bunch of rust. The seats look like they are in terrific condition. I would put a white vinyl top back on it. A fresh coat of K5 Navajo Copper Poly would make that car burst!!!! Factory ordered road wheels are still on it. If he was playing hard corps....... I would even go up to 20. That is a very nice project car!!!

Everyone:
How many $100 bills should I bring with me???

For the price of the road wheels maybe. :)
Doesn*t attract me, rattlecan paint all over and pretty rusty, that means $$ (or drive as is).

No dents ? Must be another car in the pic.

That car is too rare not to restore IMHO. Replace the fuel pump and a little fuel tank maintenance. I don't think it's as rusty as everyone thinks. We'll know more tomorrow when Stan takes a look,

I have one of these and I love mine. I would say since the interior looks good and if the body is solid you should be able to get it for 1500.00. New paint and you will have a headturner.

I dig that rug man!
bring 15 of them but don't pull out the last 3 of them unless he won't take 12 and you have to have it.

It may crank but the ad says the fuel pump has to be replaced. I bet the tank is trashed too.

The spray paint is what scares me the most.. Who knows what is hiding behind there.. I agree though, it would be a GREAT project car, and be a real beauty! Will be a tough sell though if you ever want to get rid of it. One of the least favorite C's out there.

I don't think any of us does.. But things happen.. Plus this didnt seem like stans "gotta have" car. Or maybe I'm wrong
