This question has probably been asked a million times... but Just wanna be sure before I order these wheels. Been looking at at set of American Racing Wheels . The question is.. will these fit my 1968 plymouth sport fury? On the website it says they won't.... but if I change the vehicle to 68 Fury 3.... it says they will. So I'm kinda confused. That's because some of the big companies just don't know Mopars. Garbage in garbage out in their programming! If the backspacing was 3.75 (zero offset) would be better, but since guys run 15x8 rims on Fury's it should be fine!

Off the subject, I just went to my local O'Reilly's and they had zero spark plug wires for a big block or small block! Sigh! Small towns!

That issue is probably related to the fact that "Sport Fury" per se is not in their model database, but normal "Fury III" is. It didn't find your model, so they don't fit, even though the two versions are the same car.

I used to run into similar issues on some Rock Auto searches. Same part fits a New Yorker that fits a Newport, but no listings for Newports. Or same part on one model year as another, but one year has the listing and the next model year does not. Working off of a list that somebody had already made. Nothing to get excited about!

Following this thread. I want similar wheels for my 68 300. I tried a set of magnum 500s that I thought would fit, but the hit the bud disc cylinders I have on the front wheels. Back went the steelies and wheel covers.

Please post an update if you buy these.

Magnum 500s and Chrysler-used disc brakes do not mix, especially in 14" diameters.

The issue is not specifically the rim diameter, but how the backside of the wheel is shaped related to disc brake caliper clearance. In many cases, this is why Chrysler put 15" wheels with the factory front disc brake option.

I ran across this situation in a later 1960s Chevy parts book. Seems that power front disc brakes were available on normal Gen 1 Camaros, but initially, they needed a special wheel for that application. A year or so later, the wheel changed so that one wheel fit both drum and disc brake models. There was an illustration to indicate what did change with the revised wheels. This was specific to the 14" wheels. Factory Z/28s all came with 15" wheels anyway, being the ONLY Camaros in Gen 1 or Gen 2 to have 15" wheels from the factory.

Chrysler did not use factory 15" Magnum 500 wheels, but Ford did on some Mustangs, which also had power front disc brakes on them. 15x7s. At one point in time, there were a huge number of B-bodies at Mopar Nats with 15" Magnum 500 wheels on them. I suspect that most of them had factory disc brakes, too.

Just some observations,
