The ideal vacuum reading should be nice and steady at idle between 17 and 21 inHg. And no, the 440 isn't very economical on gas, but can get 12 or 14 mpg if mostly cruising on the primaries.

Ah, the deer whistles. My mother swore by them but most laugh at them. Testing has proven they don't work but perhaps a person hits the Deer that is fleeing the whistle.

I believe those are deer whistles, they create a very high pitch whistling sound that we can’t hear, but irritates deer, to avoid them damaging your car.

I don't believe I have seen deer whistles on front bumpers since we moved to FL over 25 years ago. That brings back memories
