Great day at Nats

If my floor mats went missing, Mike would have been the only suspect.

By the way, Mike, I met the owner of the silver 300 from Good Guys. Really cool people & the car is spectacular. The interior is all original.

Wow!!! I didn't see the Cordoba/Magnum/LeBaron/whatever with the 6.1. Awesome!!!

There was a Dart with a 6.4. They drove it from NC and every time I saw it they had it running.

I had a really cool conversation with him he won the burnout competition in his Cordoba. He did all the work himself. It is the ultimate sleeper. It was unrestored but still in good shape. He was from Arizona and he always wanted to come to the Nats . It was his first time and had just finished the car. The engine basically fit. He had a much bigger transmission hump inside.

He is at about 3:30.

I missed him at Nats his car is outstanding, I couldn't believe that was the original interior. I think he told me he had the exterior paint touch up but not repainted. I believe he is from Delaware.

I have to show his interior again.

His car was recently painted the factory color. He does live in Delaware, OH & I'm not sure if he was at Nats or not. I met him at the Heath cruise-in.

The reflection of the ground-grass on the quarter panel on the black '68 300 scared me in the first pic posted until I stared at it ah while! Looked like the owner wood grained it with some gawd awful contact paper or iz it jes me and these old eyez? Jer

I am surprised there are any Cs there. Being a racing venue, the Nationals always drew VERY VERY few Cs.... The number is increasing as survivors are found and guys get the urge for comfort over speed
