Glad you're here.
You're my kinda guy, btw...
You like low line post cars.
Sticks shifts as God intended.
We'll get along just fine.
440/4 speed:
Ya that's exactly what it is. Also the shift pattern is backwards too, away and down for reverse, straight up for first, in and down for second, straight ahead for third. Weird. Oh well it's all going away soon.
Every once in a while I talk to a kid who works at a Boneyard in or very near Tampa but I'll be damned if I can remember any more info than that.Hey Commando, I'm also in FL a lil north of Tampa. Any good boneyards around here?
OK. Now you're showing off. LMFAO!!Somebody trying to emulate the Dodge Brothers shift pattern?
Shame this thread died........
View attachment 10791View attachment 10792Too bad, is Terry no longer here? I would sure like to see the progress on his I. I have the original dealer book that was with the papers to the car and according to the listing and picture of the material that is in both our cars it is code # L1B. I'll try to get a couple pic's of the book as soon as I figure out how to do it.
Thanks for that 1966Fury1. It is in fact L1B and i bought OEM fabric and vinyl from SMS. Seats are done as per factory and turned out great. Pretty much decided to go with WW1 off white on the exterior since that was available with L1B and my engine is bluish turqoise which will be ok in a white engine bay.
1966 fury I;70849 Is there a company that can restore the soft trim onto the door panels? I believe the tops of doors had a little padding underneath of the vinyl. I am desperately looking to find some trim as well where the sun had damaged a small area of the back seat said:
The company that supplied the original fabrics is SMS Auto Interiors in Canby OR. They are currently re doing my door panels.
Better nice and late than crappy and on time
How long have you been waiting? They do nice work, but......it took 7 months for mine to be done.
