Guys. A rally cry! from B bodys

With truly serious $h!# going on around the world that IS significant, all ya got to do is worry about a LOGO??? Really?

I think that is exactly the point and it makes me wonder. If FCA US products sell well, why bother with the logo? All the new signs, letterings, stationery, business cards, websites, brochures, etc... to change it all in order to eradicate the Pentastar will cost a LOT of money. And to what particular benefit will that be? Will just one FCA vehicle be sold more because the Pentastar is gone? Surely not.

I think it was just some scheme pulled of by some executive whose brother-in-law runs a design agency and he convinced some other executive that a new logo is just what the doctor ordered for the corporation, or else all sales will drop to zero because of the old, old logo... plus the world would be flung into outer space.

Anyway, I bet that silly "FCA" script made some agency or designer a lot richer.

They wanna remove themselves from Chrysler and its image. They needed a foot in the American door, they got it

Wish I could have been there to see those HEMI muscle cars coming off the assembly lines. Whatever. With my luck I probably would have been drafted and be long dead by now.

We were all expecting that, and counting the days - lucky for me that Vietnam ended before they could get me.

I threw my draft card away when I joined the Army.

I should of kept it and framed it!

I disagree wholeheartedly! Have you seen the Dodge commercials with a boatload of OLD Dodges in them??? Seems your theory would be lacking a little. If anything, I think that FIAT is indeed recognizing the Chrysler corporate heritage in the US and celebrates it in the current advertising.

I have NEVER seen a Dodge ad on TV with an old Dodge in it. I do see them on YouTube like the one posted in the other thread.....
They don't advertise much and when they do it is for the Dart.
They don't care much for the heritage.. But like others have stated, its a business and about the money, I get it.

The ad I posted was on TV last night....FX channel.

you'll be seeing that ad every other commercial real soon on all channels.

As I said in the other thread..... Its about time they run an ad other than one neighbor keeping his dart away from the other neighbor.......

Hope to see it man MANY times

Kinda stupid to put the new Corvette in your commercial. Chrysler could care less about the Viper.
