GY9 71 GT

Maybe I'm in the minority but I think the darker metallic colors like GY9 look great on the C-bodies and it will look even better on a GT with the white stripes. Look forward to seeing how the project progresses.
I'm glad it's GY9 Gunmetal would of been another great color or Mood indigo for sure!!!! This one is black interior and top and stripes my buddy's is GY9 gold interior and gold stripes.

You helped me get one of my dream cars Manny so I would be pleased to help you with what you might need for yours now. We can start with some console pieces and go from there. I will never forget the help you gave me when I needed it a couple years ago now (triple black 71 300 coupe).

All the best with your new SFGT and keep us posted along the way. You have the drive needed to get it done. That is essential.

Couldn't be happier for you!
That was quite the adventure with getting that Triple black 71 300 a few year's back!!! I'm so glad it all worked out in the end I thank you for any part's you can help me out with.

Few pictures of the part's car it has all the door panel's and front buckets i need. A solid trunk floor and front floor pans and trim mine is missing.

It's really surprising you were able to find a 71 Sport Fury Brougham as a parts car for your Sport Fury GT in that kind of condition no less! Is your GT also a Brougham like the one @CanCritter restored to the max?

Congrats @70 Sport Suburban! Any tag and/or historical info on these two cars that you can share? Needless to say, if I can help, I will too!

No I don't believe so on my GT the interior was removed a long time ago and I don't know what happened to it. So no broadcast sheet at all wouldn't the upper quarter roof skins have holes for the emblems if it was a Brougham edition?

Wouldn't the interior code on the tag be a indicator of the Brougham package? I presume it wasn't coded as a package on the tag?

Brain fart this morning correct it's code for black vinyl buckets i wasn't even thinking about that at all when answering Steve!!!

Your GT is a vinyl bucket seat car, black in color:

Your parts car is definitely a Sport Fury Brougham - I don't think there was a Brougham emblem on the C pillar for the parts car. I know there wasn't one on my 70 Sport Fury Brougham.

I guess our posts over lapped at the same time!

Also if your parts car had a tag, for the interior it would have read H5F7

As a side note, H stands for "high line", M for "medium line", L for "low line" and E for "economy" model line.

Since your GT is a high line model, it has the H as the first letter in the interior code and the Brougham models were also high line. If your seats were an option in a regular Sport Fury then they would have been coded M8XA for example (apparently seats like yours would not have been identical in a regular Sport Fury since the grains would have been different between the bolsters and the seat inserts themselves whereas the seats in your GT should be all non-grained - hence the M8XA:

Finally got the part's home big help from @Trailer Park!!! Roof and floors are perfect and the cowl also. And also he helped with getting a 71 Mood GT fender since my passenger fender was a 70. And there was some extra goodies in the car also!!
