Had to say goodbye to my best friend

buddy is right , their always missed the most . people say their like kids , but their never get older and find another life . they stay right by you . 17 is a long relationship , i know your pain . just thank god for your time with buddy .

we lost 3 older dogs, in 13 months, recently.
we have since rescued 3 more.
when the pain is over, or to help in the ache, save a life. get another, or 2!

Thanks everyone for your replies, they do mean so much and the are very appreciated. You all are the best, and with friends like you all it makes the hard times better.
Yes it was very hard for me, and yes I cried like a little girl holding him as he went, but he was suffering and his loyalty for me would not let him leave me, so I had to say goodbye to him.
