It needs some TLC, but still under 50 miles on the odometer!
We bought it on Ebay about 10 years ago.
Original tires still hold air
I'm a little foggy on the details. I think that the dealer had it for 10 years. First owner for 20? Or vice versa. We've had it for around 10. Bought it on Ebay.

How in the world does that happen? Is it for sale? Love it!

Someone buys it new, dies, and the family leaves it in the same spot. The other spouse dies many years later, and then the family decides to settle the estate. Something along those lines, is my guess.

I bought a tiny (2 cylinder air cooled!)1973 Fiat 500 that had under 800 miles on it. The car was originally bought on a vacation, shipped back, and they could not title it. I titled it because, by then, it was older than 25 years and the DOT & EPA releases no longer mattered.

That's a time capsule, I'd love to see detailed photo's of this car from every angle.

It's a real beautiful car !!!

I find it strange, for the VIP being Plymouth's top of the line car in all of my years I have only seen a few that were even remotely highly or even moderately optioned out.

I have thought the same thing. Very few Fury's got optioned up but the VIP should be and are not

Now here's the biggest problem.
If you bought it, you couldn't drive it.
I know, you all say you'd drive the wheels off of it, but in reality you wouldn't.
It's now a Fabrage Egg you won't let anyone hold.

I would have a hard time not driving it. Its not like some ultra rare car you cant finf parts for. Still even if you enjoyed it for show driving would still probably be the lowest miliage one left. I think I have less then 1000 miles on my 300 this year, it just tured 55,000 last week. However I think I drive it enough to enjoy it.

Most of the value is tied up in its not being driven. What's an 80,000 mile VIP worth in unrestored condition? I'd venture that it's a lot less than an 80 mile one. Every mile you put on it makes it that much less special. It's easy to say you would drive it, but then you're probably not the kind of person who would pay extra to have the extra collectibility.

I really dislike these facebook links. No, I'm not on facebook and I'm not joining facebook, and probably never will. Can someone please post the details and pics? What is the real story behind this one?

essentially what is shown on the original post to this thread is all that is on Face Book, Someone posted several pictures of his 1969 VIP with 26 miles on it. And now it's being shared on the FCBO site.
