Have you tried AMD
Assuming you're not kidding, AMD only makes panels for A, B and E bodies. Nothing for C.Have you tried AMD
I wasn't trying to be rude, maybe someday I'll be surprised and AMD will make something for us. I'm glad you got pieces that work, most of what's out there isn't any better than what a toddler might cobble together.Sorry I really didn't mean to provoke anyone.
I bought trunk extensions , quarter patch panels, fuel tank and rear bumper for my 66 Polara back in 2013-2014. I could find the purchase records but I thought something was from AMD.
These are listed on EBAY if it helps.
1965 1966 1967 1968 1969 1970 FURY MONACO POLARA ..C BODY TRUNK EXTENSIONS PAIR | eBay
Back about 5 years when I was trying to find stuff for my car I was stunned to find out how little was offered for C bodies. I went to site after site only to find they just catered to A, B, and E bodies. I thought it was going to be easy, it wasn't.
I didn't have a problem with anyone's replies. We all know how hard it is to find parts, there aren't really enough C bodies for companies to bother making stuff for them.Sorry if I came across rude or upset with your suggestion of AMD, that wasn't my intention. I was only saying that AMD currently ignores C-Bodies. No worries about provoking anyone, everyone should have thick skin on here by now. In my experience, no one intentionally is rude but posts often come across that way. It is an education when you find out that very little is made for C's.
No problem at all.I wasn't trying to be rude, maybe someday I'll be surprised and AMD will make something for us. I'm glad you got pieces that work, most of what's out there isn't any better than what a toddler might cobble together.
Yep, trim pieces for the bucket seat. Those wheel covers made me buy a car to go with them!No problem at all.
I don't know if you remember but I think you bought some wheel covers and maybe a couple of other thing from me last summer.
You're unlikely to find the clean sheet metal you desire, but probably will find lots of cars for sale that could use some too.I wonder if I'll find trunk extensions at Carlisle, and how much they'll be...
I remembered the wheel covers but I couldn't think of what else you bought.Yep, trim pieces for the bucket seat. Those wheel covers made me buy a car to go with them!
