Hello all,
Please forgive my ignorance, when I got my 66 Fury, the heater was by-passed, I've never seen 2 set of Heater Core outlets, how are the heater hoses connected?? it's an A/C car, am sure it makes a difference. Any help is always greatly appreciated,
Rob.

From the engine 1 hose goes to the heater core fitting coming out of the fire wall and the other hose goes to the heater valve. From the heater valve there is a u bend hose that connects the valve to the other line on the heater core.

Thank you guys for the replies! I must be missing something, I could not find anything on the heater diagrams from the manual, they show them directly from the firewall to the pump housing, also, I don't see the valve! ?????

Look in the A/C section. The valve is inside and all you see is the tubes, the bottom set.

Oops, just re-read what I wrote - the heater valve is inside the car, up above the passenger footwell, it is not in the A/C box itself.

This pic shows the hose arrangment for AC cars at the firewall.

Might want to pressure check the heater core before you hook it back up, most folks do not bypass the heater unless it is leaking.

A few months ago, you would have jumped for joy at my post
Dual Heater Core for AC cars 1965-68
An AC heater core assembly. Sold for $41 + $12 shipping. I could have jumped on it and flipped on ebay (my 65 in non-AC), but that usually proves an amazing hassle. You wouldn't believe the strange and fussy buyers out there. You try to help somebody, but they won't read, don't communicate, then leave bad feedback.
