Hello From Mid Maryland

:welcome:
Nice cars! Where are you hiding the Plymouths?:poke:

Funny you should ask. I have my deceased Uncle's 1990 Sundance. California car with no rust. Drove it back from CA to Maryland. Followed Route 66. This was at the Wig Wam Motel in Holbrook,AZ.

Nice rides... I'd say welcome to our form of insanity, but it appears you have a health dose already.

I would especially like some more pictures of the NYer. Did I see a mirror hiding on the passenger side? That sure looks like frost green too.

There is a passenger side mirror. It looks nice but functionally it is worthless. The color is silver. Your New Yorker looks like a good solid car. We know where you live well. We do the rail trails near you. Nice area. Hope you got the pictures.

Hey, the passenger side mirror is intended for the use of the passenger, have they ever tried seeing out of it? I spent hours trying to find a way to mount mine without it looking goofy, finally just put it the way it was designed and it's great for the passenger, just gotta ask them what's coming, lol.
Kinda hard to see here, but it's there.

Nice collection. I know I have seen the Imperial at the antique car show in Rockville, MD. I'm pretty sure I saw the T-bird at the same show. As for that wagon, I have lost count of the number of times I have passed it on the way to or from Carlisle or been parked next to it at Hershey.

Yes that is my car. That's a good show but I haven't been able to make it for the last few years. What did you have their?

I was parked a couple of cars over from you. I haven't been back to Mason/Dixon show since. Maybe this year.

I have admired big American cars since I was a kid. It's good to see the C's getting the appreciation they deserve. Here is some of the cars my Brother and I own and maintain. They are as follows:
1967 Imperial Mobile Director original California car.
1971 Chrysler Town and Country
1968 Chrysler New Yorker
1987 Dodge Diplomat (belonged to my deceased Father)
1963 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight (all options currently under restoration, note the 1971 Chrysler wheel covers on it, and that's another story)
1962 Ford Thunderbird (my brother and I recently restored ourselves)
I like admiring all the pictures of the members cars on this sight. Really good stuff guys!

Thanks for the pictures. We're less than 10 miles from 4 or 5 places to get on the trails. You must be serious about riding to come clear up here to ride.

Thanks for the warm welcome. It sure is a small world in the car hobby! I also have 5 parts cars and 2 drivers. The insanity must stop. Glad I found this support group.

That's us! We know because our rear bumper came off a 72 wagon (courtesy Murray Park) and our wagon is 71. You must have taken this in Holly Springs heading south. By the way, Murray said the bumper would bolt right on but we had to make modifications to the brackets (a real pain in the ***). Thanks for sending the shot!

I was hanging out with Murray today, great guy!

Yes. That was on RT 94 heading southeast through Mount Holly towards York Springs. Didn't know about there being a difference in the bumpers.
