So I was looking around eBay and spotted this car...

...Which I sold about 15 years ago, after driving it back to Michigan. This is what it looked like at my house in Glendale, AZ (below).

However, the ad tells a fib (I use the term because someone might have made an honest mistake). The paint is not original. I know because I re-did it inside the garage. :D Interesting thing about these 'dobas... It was an original car, just needed new paint after all those years in the sun. It was a very "tight" car, felt like new. Cordobas were built at Chrysler's plant in Windsor, Ont... I'm told that was because it was the best-quality plant Chrysler had at that time. Stands to reason because Windsor is a helluva lot different than Detroit and I'll leave it there.

PS: Looking at these pics makes me feel warm. I miss my oleanders so much. On my way out there soon for some vacation and then Spring Fling in California.

That almost looks like the colour on my '78 MU3 Caramel Tan Metallic. Had it since high school but not much of it left im afraid. Gonna take a lot of time n money to put it right but as my handle says ...love these cars.

Btw Windsor is still one of the top plants in the group. Bramalea as well.

I don't recall the color code, but the name was "Bittersweet Metallic" and it was a gorgeous color. Want to paint something that color again but it only looks good in sun, so it will have to wait for me to move back to AZ. Agree about the plants, but I hope Bramalea's paint shop has gotten better...

A friend had one of those in the early 80's with a 360 that we would cruise around in. Fond memories. Thanks for sharing.
