I have no idea how to decode a VIN.
Can someone tell me when Shamu's birthday is?

601 June 1st 1970 scheduled production date. Does the car have the VIN sticker in the drivers door jamb? What month is on there?

Yep, that looks to be correct. Though when I bought it a couple years ago, it had already been repainted; top removed. Stroker RB & 3.73 gears too. But the inside is what it was born with.
Thank you very much for taking the time!

Car is down the road in storage; had a great first time this year!

There is a lot of additional information on the build sheet. Usually under the driver side seat cushion or in the top half of the rear seat behind the springs. (2 most common places) Decode above appears correct.

@Shamu70 -- did you ever find a build sheet for CE23L0C245264 (or is it CE23L0C245204 )?

CE23L0C245294
Looks like a 9 to me.
Even though the schedule production date is for June first, the door mylar sticker might tell a different story. It most likely wasn't born in June, but shortly after June. It could be several moments later.
Let's see the mylar and the build sheet.
