Help needed on SG rear

i found a SG center section and I’m trying to determine if I should pull the trigger.
Can someone help me out with this CL add.

It will be going into my 67 Fury wagon which currently has the factory 742 open rear with 2.76 gears I believe

Is that kind of high for an open "3.23" geared 3rd member. Although it does have the bigger yoke. Maybe its just that I haven't bought one in awhile

It is an open 3.23 8.75. It will bolt in to your housing, but it is not worth more than half the asking price in used condition. Looks to have been stored dry and is showing some rust patina on the ring gear. I would say it is a "pass" due to overprice and suspect condition.

The 7th picture show the spider gears. It's an "open" rear. Sure grips don't have big "windows" like that - the spiders are hidden away.
