Hi I wonder if you could help me, set at price on this car in Dollar :-) (what would it cost in the USA)?. I is listed at 10200 Dollar in Denmark(67000 Dkr), and there is alot to think about before buing it here. New interior, Engine (440) that cant start(so i dont know how the drivetrain works!New convertible top, left fender, front bumper, paint etc, etc. Import tax,gas tax aprox 4500 Dollar

I realy like this vehicle, but is it way to high a price?

Thats the way it is, price is higher here because of shipping cost`s. I myself also think it is to high. But i didnt know what it would cost ower there ;-)

How much were they asking for it when originally advertised? So how much of the $10,200 is shipping, insurance, hassle factor, etc?

Never mind I see it was advertised over there with all that thrown in.

Is it already there?

Also being wet in the pics is hiding even more if you were thinking of partial repaint after fixing fender damage

He sayes it is from arizona (He is a Danish uscar dealer, car are now on danish soil), The price for me in Denmark Is 10200 Dollar, on top of i have to pay import and gas tax aprox 4500 Dollar. Then i can think about getting the car in shape and licensed!

Unless you have to have that car, don't get it. Let the dealer keep that wreck for ever, and ever.

With damage to the front end like that, plan on replacing the stub frame, or using lots of shims to fit the fender.

I see fender and bumper crunched ... he's trying to make his money back for something that was damaged in shipment or when it got there probably

are you close enough to go see if there is any rust through in floor or frame? May still be worth it since it's already there if it is incredibly clean and straight minus fender crunch and interior that needs restored

If the interior looks like that, chances are it was exposed to the weather. If that's the case, expect the floors to be shot.

Walk away.

If it's really an Arizona car there a chance the body, floor, and frame are still better than a lot of others and bodywork is about the most expensive part of any resto.

It sits only 2,5 hours drive away. I havent seen it on sight. I am not so worried abaut rust. In that field i got skills ;-) I worry more abaut drive train, he claims it wil not start!! But i have made up my mind i wil let it rest in peace :-(
Still think it is a wonderfull model that convertible(i think it is the only one in Denmark)

Not starting is not a big deal. Turning freely is a big deal. Knocking or low compression is a big deal if you don't want to rebuild and engine which is not that big a deal compared to body work.

You probably don't know but I'd wonder what they have done regarding trouble shooting the not starting issue more than just pumping the gas and turning the key.
