2 vac lines in the pass side engine compartment, , 1 goes from the heater temp control thingy into the firewall, and another which I think goes to a vac tank in front to the firewall

Both go way way down and then into the firewall, seem impossible to reach from above or below unless you are Stretch Armstrong

How do you replace these vac lines?

Also do they go thru a hole in the firewall or is there a plastic connector in between?

What year?

In my 69 Fury III vert, Shamu, the hose goes through the fire wall without a feedthru connection.

How do you reach that part in the firewall? Seems too low to get from above and I couldn't get it from underneath

There is a plug like cap that has three finger clips, goes in from the inside.

The three vacuum lines in the picture are the ones in question.
The cap is rubber with three metal finger clips, you can sort of see the clips in the picture.
The car is together now, don't have a better picture, this one is already zoomed in to show this.

The three lines as I recall
Heater control valve
Vacuum reservoir
Vacuum switch on the face of the engine side AC cover.

So the pic is taken from inside the car? How do you access this area?

The picture is looking down in the engine compartment
(orange valve cover upper right. control arm on bottom)
You will most likely need to pull the wheel liner.

Ack just the thought of pulling that scaly rusty metal wheel well liner :(
I think I'll try to find a way around it
