Dear fellow C-PPL

My friend "Mads", (who is a fellow 69' 300 owner), has a problem. His motor has been acting up for ever, and despite various attempts to renovate, it has now been ruled "beyond saving". Thus, he need to find another. The good thing here is, that the needed motor is going BACK in a C-body, so I hope that someone here has something good, and is willing to part with it.. Has to be a good motor!

Shipping, (or delivery) to North Charleston, SC is needed.

We also need these parts:

69 300 Coupe -
All parts needed, to do a "front disc brake conversion"..
Front bumper (He has a 70' but want's "original")
440 Motor - Excellent, or freshly renovated condition

69 300 Convertible -
Various interior parts

69 Imperial 2DHT:
Driver side A-Pillar "cover", preferably blue..
"Wheel cover" (Thanks Matt ;-), Actually just need one un-dented outer ring

70 300:
Complete "rear clip": Including bumper, tail lights (Have lenses) , valence, decklid
Hood - (Just need the lower "skeleton-structure" for my Hurst fiber hood skin, so if you have a sad looking hood, now is the chance to sell)

68 Charger:
Various black interior, console, and and dash parts - Written in almost invisible text here, coz it's a B.. but if someone wants to sell, I wants to buy ;-)

I will have two 69 Chrysler 300's home after Sunday and will be able to help out with a number of things on your list, there is a four door hardtop and a convertible. I will be assessing the sedan tomorrow for what good/bad stuff it has and then on Monday doing the same on the convertible. I will stay in touch. regards
Gary

Thnx Gary - Looking forward to hear more.. also looking for an extra set of "front disc proportion valves", as I just realized that I dont have that for my own 300 convert either. Do you know the interior color already, of the convertible?

The interior is white but mostly trashed from being exposed to the weather. I will manage detail pics later after the car is home.
The valves are not proportioning valves but simply splitter blocks to separate the front wheel brake system from the rear wheels. I am pretty sure that in 1968 Chrysler eliminated factory proportioning valves that went to the rear wheels only, it was manually adjustable via a screw in the end.

OK, thnx.. sounds like mine (also white and trashed), but mine is REALLY bad, and has already been redone once.. poorly, and then.. "re-trashed"!

Pic's will be good.. Thnx!

Thanks.. "live and learn".. great information! I even think I remember seeing the screw on the rear splitter ;-)
I hope my own disc-conversion, done a while back is OK.. Will find out, when I get the car on the road again. It has only been driven around parking lots, and garage-yards and such, since converting, so I never really had a chance to test the brakes.

#2881824 1969 300 wheelcover have 6 of them
Thanks Marty - Wheelcovers, is for the 69 Imperial, but i think I saw an outer ring (2823048).. would that by any chance, happen to be perfect condition, or close to perfect? Would also like to ask, if you might have an interior A-piller plastic molding / cover (coupe) - Thanks !
:-D

for the 69 Imperial have

2534219 INNER HUB CAP RING used or NOS
2534048 OUTER HUB CAP RING used

Also have lots of wheelcovers from 1962-1969 in various states of disrepair, however most of the die cast stuff is nice as it is from AZ

the 67-69 seem to be close and may used similar parts ...got lots of these

Hi Marty
Thnx.. I will try to find out, if they are identical, or just "indistinguishable"... but I really need one that will be better (undented), than the one I already have one on the car, which just don't look to good with the curb-kiss it has. It wont just buff out.. If you have one outer ring, which is identical to '69 Imperial, I am ready to buy one. Thanks ;-)

PS: it seems, that every time I do one of these "parts wanted ad's", I get SUPER busy in my shop, so it might take a few days before I find out if the ring is interchangeable with other years than 65-69?

Thnx again!
:)K

I can help with a hood for the frame for the 70 300 (same as a 69), plus maybe a front bumper for a 69, if you are prepared to do a little straightening and rechrome it? $50 each. I will get a pic of the hood tomorrow.

Here are the hood pics, it is solid with no rust through anywhere underneath. Not twisted or bent at all either.

Thanks Wolfen !!!

Hood looks great (for my Hurst-purpose, anyways.. :-D ).. And so does the bumper... if possible, I think my friend would like a few more "bumper shots"..! (especially of the problem areas). BTW: I also need something as silly as the "cowl plastic mesh", as mine died in a fire (When the car was still in CA). I even got one home from Canada, with shipping, tax and everything.. and when I got it home, cleaned it up for paint overspray (which took HOURS), and sent it on to Poland, where I thought my baby was being restored / painted, and they lost it, along with my tow-gear from New Mexico! :-D
