Thanks Wolfen !!!

Hood looks great (for my Hurst-purpose, anyways.. :-D ).. And so does the bumper... if possible, I think my friend would like a few more "bumper shots"..! (especially of the problem areas). BTW: I also need something as silly as the "cowl plastic mesh", as mine died in a fire (When the car was still in CA). I even got one home from Canada, with shipping, tax and everything.. and when I got it home, cleaned it up for paint overspray (which took HOURS), and sent it on to Poland, where I thought my baby was being restored / painted, and they lost it, along with my tow-gear from New Mexico! :-D
That's cool, the bumper really only has that small bend you see if you click on the pic, it's that slight wave in the bottom edge to the left of the number plate mount area. I will take some more pics tomorrow. The rest of the bumper is good but will need rechroming, I know a good rechroming shop will be able to handle repairing that slight bend. As for the plastic grille mesh, I will check the one on the car and get back to you on that.

Thnx again Wolfen!

Sounds really good.. If possible, and not to much trouble, and if you got the time to ask at the "chromery", I am sure that my "Bumper-friend" Mads, would love to hear the price straightened / re-chromed. Chroming over here, is crazy expensive, and for some reason, most of the chrome-plants here, even refuse to do big pieces.

Also, I see the upper "grill surround molding" intact..? Mine was broken off in Poland, so I need that too.. and maybe a part of the surround too ;-)

I apologize again, for my sporadic replies, but my shop is super busy these days!

The front bumper isn't as good as I first thought, I somehow missed a dent on the drivers side, check the pics to see. There is a bit of chrome peeling in two spots but there is no heavy rust behind those spots. I can't let the trim go on it as I need the grille parts for my convertible.
The local chrome shop that does a good job is in Charlotte NC but that's a five hour drive away.
I have attached a pic of the wiper grille for you, it is in good condition , no holes and not bent. Nice original condition.

The front bumper isn't as good as I first thought

Hey Wolfen

I have "bad news" regarding our ongoing parts negotiation, which makes me feel like a bad person, as I really appreciate all help, sourcing parts.. :-/

But..
1. Mads has more engine-related considerations right now, than money to throw at the front bumper right now.. so I think he is out, and...
2. Since last I wrote, a gentleman from Iowa has contacted me. He has a 70' from which I will be buying the tail light / bumper / decklid setup from, and it will be more economically feasible (with shipping and all), to get the hood and cowl filter/mesh from that car too.

I feel bad that you took time to "free" the cowl filter for me (even though it was the "upper layer plastic one" I needed :) ), so I hope that you are not mad with me, and.. if I can offer you something for your trouble, or help with something from over here in the less fortunate parts of the world, please do let me know...
