Hennessey Performance VR1200 Car Hits 220 MPH on New Texas Highway

I've posted some of the Hennessey Viper land speed records on various threads in the past. In cooperation with Texas authorities to validate speed cameras on the New Texas Highway, the car exceeds 220 MPH. There's a video at the end of the article. Pretty cool even though it isn't a Mopar.

Wonder if Hennessey Performance will go back to Vipers when the new ones come out.

I'm sure they will. They are still working on the current Venom GT.
