Let's try the paintless dent repair on the over 500+ dimples. There is close to 300 on the roof. The tonneau cover will have to be replaced though. They were at $7500 if the hood doesn't need to be replaced.

Ouch! That's my biggest fear on a 1200 mile, mostly unsheltered trip to Carlisle and back in the Imperial. I hope it's not too much of a hassle for you.

A desk Clerk at a local Body shop recently marked the dents on a customer car with a black felt pen.
The Body man got rid of the dents, but they had to repaint it after all as the marks left stains on the yellow paint.
Just Sayin'. Hope that's some suitable marker.

Now that sucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It shows just what kind of metal that the old Monaco has verses the new tin cans.

Ouch buddy that's a shame and I hope they get it looking new for you. I really like your truck color.

I recall a freak hail storm with baseball size hail down in Wichita Falls back in about 87 or 88 or so. My 67 Sport Fury was in the parking lot with everyone else new cars and almost everyone's car was totaled or close to it.. Mine only had a few minor dents in the stainless trim on top of the doors. Didn't even crack the windows or windshield.

My sister in-law had that happen to her Cadillac they changed hood and deck lid bondoed the fender tops and roof yuk.

The hood on my Ram is aluminum & I'm surprised if yours isn't too. They can't use the paintless process on aluminum from what I'm told.

I can't even count how many hoods like that I've seen in my chasing career. I always know I'm in the right neighborhood when the cars are all beat up.

Actually they can. My son's 2010 Ram was beat up when it was two months old (150+ dents) and you can not tell there was ever any damage on his hood, or any part of the truck. The PDR guy said that there are two "iffy" dents, and he will try them first. If it won't work, then it's a new hood.

Well the car is almost as bad as the truck, in some ways worse. I have been guaranteed that I will need some paintwork as two of the dents are at a crease and the paint has cracked. Really sucks for a two month old car. Oh, and don't hate me for my choice of daily driver.

You need a bigger garage...

aw man that realy sucks...you just got the truck..guessin you got nailed around ardrie or did hail go that far north?

I just left the Costco getting gas and got hit. I tried to hide behind the Lowes for protection, then about 10 minutes after I got home another band rolled through blasting the truck again, and getting the car too. The truck I've had since November, but the car is only a couple of months old.

With hail like that nothing is safe !!!!
