Hey, everybody.

Their is a guy in Australia reproducing the 1966 300 front turn signal lenses. They are supposed to be an excellent piece for $300.00 for both lenses. I would love to get a list going of how many would want the tail lights. If we got enough people together we might be able to persuade him to tool up for a batch.
Bill. the Guy in Australia you refer to iz George Laurie or az we all call him "DeSoto George" He'z on FCBO and Hiz E-address iz: georgelaurie@bigpond.com If you want hiz phone # ask and I'll dig it out. The calculation to the east coast of hiz country where he lives north of Brisbaine in Queensland, Australia iz 18 hours + 1 day from our eastern time zone. FYI, Georges stuff iz better then NOS. His tail lites, front marker lites(in Amber) and 1962 300 side medallions adorn the Batwagon, lol. Jer

Thanks Jer. I did send him an email thru ebay asking if he would be interested. I will keep all posted as soon as I hear from him.

Well guys, the guy I wrote to in Ozland must have been a different guy named James. He is not interested in reproducing the tail light lenses. I will write the other guy tomorrow.

are you interested in selling the ones that you have then?

No. They are currently installed on my two '66 300s, which I continue to work on and improve. I figure that at some time in the future, I or someone else will break or destroy one, and then I'll need a replacement. The way I see it, you can't have too many spares. . .

I have 3 sets of taillights for the Polara, 2 for the Dart. It's this mentality that is causing me to have no extra room!

I'm standing right there with ya. . .
That's how I was in my old house. The last year there I knew I was leaving and tried to sell off so many parts. (NO BUYERS). Ended up taking two pickup loads to the scrap yard. Then wouldn't you know it, a month later I needed one of the parts I threw out.
