Cool '62.jpgG'day everyone, Roy from South Australia here, I'm a big fan of Chrysler Corporation cars, particularly between 1956-1973, although some of the cars available today are quite nice too, like the Hellcat Challenger. I've owned quite a few Mopars through the years, mostly Australian manufactured Valiants, a few Dodge Phoenix models (from 1965-72 Chrysler Australia sold re-badged Plymouth Furys as the Dodge Phoenix) as well as a couple of Imperials, the first one a 1973 LeBaron 4-door and a 1962 LeBaron which I've just sold and will be on its way to Sydney in the next few days (see pic), which brings me to one of the reasons for joining this group; I'm keen on getting another '73 Imperial. I've been keeping an eye on the market for a while and it seems that examples that are close to pristine condition command high prices but the majority have sold in the $6K or under price bracket, anyone have any thoughts on this?, anyone have or know of a nice (rust-free, straight, clean, running/driving/stopping with all electrics working) 1973 LeBaron that is for sale or whose owner may be tempted to part with his behemoth on wheels?, please let me know. Cheers.

Thanks guys. Here's one most of you won't be familiar with, it's our 1966 VC Valiant Regal, 225 Slant Six/Automatic, made right here in Adelaide, South Australia.03-01-2014 010.jpgCars 09-02-2014 008.jpgVC 005.jpg

Always wanted to go to Australia when I was in the Navy, but the damn government that waste big money on crap couldn't pony up a few bucks to float me down there.

Cool variant on our Valiant! I'm liking it! I know you guys had a really cool version of the Valiant that looked like an El Camino! Was one of my favorites when I was a kid.
Nice collection!

Well, you can always fly over here, while many parts of the US are under snow, we're into the warm season, was 27 degrees (Celsius), about 80 Fahrenheit here today, nice beaches, good food, beer and wine to be had. So, what are you waiting for?...

So tempting. I got tricked into thinking Fosters was really Australian beer, then I read the can. Made in Canada. You guys don't even drink that, do you? :)
