hi fred, thanks for the welcome. i just purchased the car a couple of months ago. the car was stored for 30 years & just turned over 106,000 miles on it. the car is really a good solid car, yes it does have some rust. car needs lower quarters & small patch in lower right ft. fender. i bought the car to be a fixer- up- r driver. i am the 4th owner of the car. the car had problems & they could'nt figure the problems. i changed up linkage on carb. got the car running & shifting correctly. the car was running hot all the time found bad freeze plug leaking & radiator was stopped up too. installed new aluminum rad. & a trans cooler too. the car runs great now,i installed after market gages to keep up with the engine. i have bought a comp. thumper cam kit for it. cam, lifters, springs, retainers, & locks. double roller chain & gears, & roller rockers too. i know i am going to have a great time building this car up. i look forward to talking with everyone here.
