High performance exhaust manifold coatings??

As always with painting anything prep is key. I had my exhaust manifolds out gassed at a local powder coater, and then sand blasted with high pressure, then used gloves to handle them and with-in 1 hour, hung them on the rack and painted them with Zybar cast color. Very easy stuff to paint! always use a good quality respirator! I will post some pics later.

Here are a couple of pictures of my manifolds that I coated with Zybar, I used the cast color, but they had several colors to choose from. I think they turned out pretty good, I just hope the coating lasts and it lowers the overall temps of the exhaust.

Looks great, I did the same manifolds for mine in the black zybar. It becomes very durable once baked on, way better than ceramic coating I've done on headers before.

Thanks! I sprayed it out of my touch up gun. Small HVLP gun, about 23 psi at the gun, it went on super easy! I really didnt coat the inside other than aiming the spray gun in the holes and doing the best I could.

I assume you baked those in an oven at 400 degrees after painting them?
