i don't think he wants to sell it...........still no phone # and did not respond to my last 2 emails.........WTF???????? and it's only abt 2 hrs away

That is your car!!!

Have you checked local ads and advertising in that area? A lot of times sellers advertise their cars in multiple venues. Maybe one of them will have an address or a phone number.

just got a fen tag pic, will post it later when i get home. i see 2 issues already though, it says E61 and has both C16 and C55, but do not see it in the pic, looks like the buddy seat

just talked to him.....it is a bucket/buddy seat car, so either the console was removed or the tag is wrong.............anybody know the option code for superlite? I think all this stuff was added, plus it has the spr special trim ,impossible for a car made in aug 68

as usual, too good to be true.

alarms is right Stan........he sent me a copy of the sheet.......said he found it under the back seat. it's for a car made the same day, but diff color and last 6 of the vin, so we will never know if the superlite is factory or not...obviously the spring spec stuff was added. I've hard of the wrong sheets in cars before, so that's not out of the ordinary.

Plus in the pics it looks like the eng is out the way it sits so high in the frt.

That being said, I am done looking, unless something pops up right out of the blue. I've pissed up my last frigging rain gutter.

Did they have the VIN repeated under the trunk weatherstrip of the left rear quarter in 69 already or started this in 1970 ? My 300 of that year has it.

No idea.......nothing front and center on my radar right now, and I am not killing myself looking (which is actually kind of nice).

There is a nice '89 BMW 325i rag down the road from me that the wife likes

Dont do it ........... get the wife something nice to drive and you'll never have anything of your own

I'm not doing it.............note that I said, 'the wife likes..'

she only mentions this stuff in passing anyway, she does not really want a car for a toy.

i'm ready to bu the '94 caprice LT1 with 26k miles in lancaster and just use that as a toy

i know I will......in 2000 i bought a '94 with 30k on it, old man's spc order lt1, my favorite car hands down (of all my non-rags). Had my wife been willing to drive it, I'd still own the car, I think.

but then I won't be able to buy a rag..........that's the problem
