Im looking for cross reference information for 12R4761B carburetors. I have the holley list number page open and I have not been able to find the series or family of carbs that would share parts. 4761 does not show on the list.

I have googled several list numbers but have not found anything that looks like these carburators. Which I believe to be the 500cfm oem part in 69. I don't have one available currently but my next guess was to pull out all of my 2bbl carbs and compare list numbers.

Respectfully, that noted number looks more like a Holley casting part number for the particular PART of the carburetor, not the 4-digit "List Number" (for the complete assy), that on 4bbls, was usually stamped on the front of the choke plate housing, near the top edge on the driver's side part of the housing. Suspecting the location might be the same for a Holley 2bbl?

What might you be looking for? Just curious.

You might also find all of what you might be looking for in a Holley Variable Spec Manual. Which lists the differences from the main item specs for all Holley carburetors within a particular, wide model year range. Basic settings, plus jets, power valves, gaskets, etc.

Take care,

I was going to order an accelerator pump and gasket kit. I wrongly suspected that the 2bbl carbs were the same for a long time which derailed me a couple times as another car I had bought came with a car kit in the extras but that was for a 73 small block car.
It looks like they got away from this carb in about 72. I do have a 70 intake that I think has the same carb. I think I will get it out and check the numbers and order the parts for it and swap it to the car in question. Which is not my car.

As far as the number goes I was speculating that the complete number was the Chrysler spec number and the 4 digit number within it would be the holley list number. Its only one digit off of a holley list for a 500cfm 2bbl.
