I bought a cheap insulation pad off ebay. It is really cheap and it is impossible to install by myself without tearing it up. My question is did I buy some really junky insulation? It looks correct compared to the original. If it is not typical any supplier suggestions?

I looked several years ago but could only find cheap knock offs that were not molded like the original. I haven't looked recently though but it sounds like your experience hasn't been much better.

Yes definitely not molded. I should have sent it back, the holes don't even line up right and it was like the pad got off center and they proceed to try again so I have extra holes and neither are in the right place.

Thanks molded was the key word for my search. I found another one on ebay that is molded with 100% positive feedback. This looks very promising, of course it is about 4x price of the crap I bought originally.
