How's The Weather?

BBQ needs to be fired up:

Weather been not to bad here in Daytona Beach FL, but the Gestapo cops not so much, from OPL on Reelz a couple of weekends ago this was done right at the busy intersection by the Ghettoville WalMart closest to me. He could of waited till the next light where if the driver took a left or right there was plenty of vacant space (and canal ditch) to do a 'PIT' maneuver, or if the driver went straight on it was a lesser traffic area.

He even cleared the drivers pistol wrong as it was pointing right towards a lane of traffic, the sidewalk, and a McDonalds!.

Ah ya gotta love the 2nd Amendment!

I'm sure you would have showed those cops how to pull someone over, arrest them, and clear a firearm, the right way. Until that opportunity arises, the entire force is operating untrained and with no experience.

Traffic stops on a congested roadway can go very wrong at times, I watched the OPL segment again, the cop a dickhead, I know the exact roadway section this happened on and he should of waited until further up the road where traffic will thin out. I'll guarantee the drug charge will get thrown out of court just like the France kids big bag of coke stop/charge if the guy uses the Famous France lawyer.

Are we reaching South Florida mayhem level yet? Were near there I tell'ya.

We're up to 81" of snow for the season.

North of us, in the Oswego area, has gotten 4 feet of snow since New Years day.

Garage addition time this week in Fargo. The weather much better than working in 10 -15 degree weather, which isn’t bad if the wind isn’t blowing.

Hopefully set my trusses by the end of the week, a maybe sheathing next week.
Stripping off the siding today to start tying in my final walls tomorrow.

Temps expected to be in the upper 30's to mid 40's this week in Illinois, so what's left of the snow around here should be gone.
I'll be in TN mid week, where and when it's expected to be mid 60's to lower 70's.

We're not far off this year, seems like every day I'm pushing 4-6" of snow.

This pile was all but gone 2 weeks ago. Took these pictures this morning after clearing the driveway.

I did choose a good year to buy and repair an old Chebby with a Meyer's

Just getting dug out here at the shop in Central Indiana. We got about 12 inches here. I will resist the urge to drive the wagon as I don't want to expose it to the salt...But have so many memories of blasting through the cold winters in the wagons that have the best heaters in the world!.

We had some sub-zero temps this weekend, but it's up to a balmy 17 degrees F today. We didn't get the snow that was predicted, but still got about 14" or so.

I just cleaned out the driveway with the snowblower. No fun.... It was over the top of the chute at the end from the snow plow. Not counting yesterday, we're over 102" for the season which puts Syracuse at #1 for major city snowfall in the US.

Holy crap 102" is crazy! Living east of Buffalo has to be a real challenge in the winter months. We usually just get a few snow falls in the 2"-5" range a handful of times each winter at best. 12" at once is a exception here. My Greta Thunberg powered snow blower was not liking life at the house, but it got it done. We have a plow guy do our shop lot then I trim in the details in front of the doors and walkways. We have such little snow here I kinda feel sorry for the guys that have to invest in all the equipment but don't get many returns on it most winters

Actually, it's handled pretty well here. We have the plows to take care of the snow. In all the years I worked, I missed exactly one day because of the weather and that was because my road wasn't plowed. The roads are clear here, schools are closed, but all the businesses are open.

Buffalo usually gets a lot less snow than we do, but if you go north-east of us, in the Tug Hill area, they usually get 6' more for the season (we get about 10') and they once got over 6' in 24 hours! They get the "lake effect" snow off Lake Ontario like we do, but they also get the "Nor'easters" coming out of New England.

Man I love the XJ's. I have owned several over the years but sold my last one to friend around 2012. The best jeep for the money IMO. My last one was a black 2001 limited I bought in 2004. It got a correctly done manual trans swap in it after I sold it too. Had the opportunity to buy it back this past year and regret not going through with it. Got too many cars and need to get a shop built at house before I add more to my fleet. But will try to buy it back once I get the shop built. They are the perfect size and such capable little SUV's.
