What's the story/history on the sunroof 300/H?
It was the first go at designing the 300/H. The car was originally chocolate brown then sprayed white. The sunroof was added, and it has a manual valve body and Hurst shifter. It also used the Hurst symbol from the Commando on the door panels. It had lots of small changes. Also has Kelsy Hays rims. It is owned by a guy in Canada.

Cool! Thanks for the photos.

Did anyone get a photo of the fender tag???

Lol it is a prototype so no fancy final version. If they did we would have it in our cars! If you look at the one in the convertible it is similarly crudely done. I forgot to take a pic of the fender tag. I'll ask him for one.

It's interesting that there are NO photos of this car in 1970.

At least I haven't run across one yet.

It would be interesting to see some.

I have some documentation on this car, but no photos in period.

I'll see what I can do. I have some parts he needs and vice versa so I know we will be in touch. It was very interesting to see the car.

Interesting fender tag.

Its also interesting that no console was ordered. I think I know why though.

I was lucky because I bumped into the owner at my friends Car Corral spot...he had just picked up a complete NOS 1970 300 Grille and my buddy knew that I would be interested. He gave us a great walkaround of the car explaining all the details as they are known today. Pretty cool as I had not previously even heard of the car.

I thought the shifter was pretty cool, it was predictable that Chrysler didn't want to go with a manual valve body but some sort of HURST shifter should have been used. Using the stock setup was the FAIL!

Its funny how timing is everything and I was glad to have seen the car and the chance to listen to the history!

The other Hurst 300 that was there...I haven't seen those Polyglas Tires on a car for awhile. I know they aren't correct but they looked great on this car.
