I’ve already got a 440 too as well as an intake. Aluminum rockers. That’s $1200 bucks right thereI do like the Modern Hemi route, but you do have the headers already.... You could go the way of the rest of the world.......Turbo LS swap. Just kidding, LOL.
Yes it still has the ISO stuff in the rear. A bit surprised by that. The front K frame biscuits look very good. They’ve been replaced. Yea I’m familiar with the polyurethane stuff. I converted my 77 big block Fury to Polyurethane front to rear & did away with the ISO & installed a 8 3/4 rear.Really nice complete car by the way and love the chin spoiler!
I had a 74SE and when I had completely rebuilt the suspension (I wish I still had that car), I also did the following:
Looks/sound like the previous owner made a lot of improvements and likely did what I suggest below, nut just in case they didn't...
If the rubber isolated spring/axle contraptions are still on it, I'd get rid of that **** (I cant tell by the rear pix) and go with the older shock plates.
Also check the isolated Kframe, drivers rear for rot because the stupid rubber isolators trapped water in these cars (VERY common issue on these cars). If the kframe still has the rubber isolators, replace em with solid ones as well as the torsion bar rubber isolated cross member rubber bushings.
All that rubber **** was to soften and quiet the ride at the time but at the expense of road/handling performance
*all of the items needed for the 'ISO delete' can be found at Firm Feel B Body Parts
-iso delete kit (which is the rear shock plates that you can readily get anyway so I wouldn't bother with getting it from them)
-aluminum body mounts (kframe)
-cross member mounts (torsion bar) I had a machine shop make mine and can provide the specs
We like spending anyone else's money...You like spending my money I see LOL
So this one can title/register to be street driven? I'd say to cherry pick anything you want for Furious (rear end?) and then make her road worthy. I bet you could be doing laps around the subdivision in a week without a parts bill right now.I’ve already got a 440 too as well as an intake. Aluminum rockers. That’s $1200 bucks right there
Yea I thought about that. I got to pull the motor & trans out of FURYIOUS anyway & run a new fuel line. The only thing is I have the suspension and n FURYIOUS dialed in & its 400 pounds lighter. And the Charger doesn’t have a roll cage. And I just recently spent $200 bucks on a back brace tied to the roll bar & new SFI belts just to please the tech guy at VMP.We like spending anyone else's money...

I had a 73 that I loved and did awful things to before I was old enough to legally sit in a bar. Teenage cantflip would have considered this car to be very close to perfection. My grownup self wants a bit more luxury, but I still have a soft spot. Just tell everyone that the 440 came out of an A Body...
