I got invited to go into one of two VERY OLD salvage yards. The place is a time capsule. Over 40 acres & over 300 cars. All kinds of cars. I was able to take pics but I had to promise I would not post them on the net. I know, trust me. I hate it too. Here’s what I estimate. 40 Corvairs including 1 van & he said there was a Corvair pick up back in there too. 40-50 Studebakers, 30-40 Hudson’s. 10 plus Packards, 30 Willy’s , Kaiser trucks, maybe 6 C body Furys, early B bodys. 8 or 10 56-60 MOPARS, 10 or so old T bird, Several Edsel, a BUNCH of 55-60 GM cars. A BUNCH OF 60-64 Fords. Metropolitans , A couple of Harmon’s. Dozens of 40’s cars. 2 Javelins, a lot of 70’s Fords. 12 early Hemi engines already pulled. And I didnt see it all. It’s rained so much around here & big pools of standing water all over. Quick sand type conditions. I stepped into a sink hole & quickly went down knee high. He said he might let me in the other yard later. I just wish I could show you guys all the cool cars. Tons of desirable parts. I hope to buy some stuff. A 59 New Yorker with a wedge motor, 62 Mercury convertable, Several early 60’s GM convertable. Old 60’s sports cars, Thames panel van, 40’s & 50’s pick ups everywhere. Impalas, Galaxy’s, Fairlane, Several DeSotos.

You do know that promise's were made to be broken, right?
What you say and what you do are 2 different things, POST EM UP!
Na, I try to be good to my word. And this could be a start to a good relationship. He said he’s looking someone that will buy cars or parts on a regular basis. It’s a gold mine of parts. I need to be cool

So post em up next month! What he doesn't know won't kill him. LOL

I don't get why they wouldn't want the free advertising, most people here are enthusiasts and some would no doubt be willing to buy parts and/or cars, perhaps they have no need to or don't want to sell too much stock?

He posted pics once before & said he got swamped with request for pics & prices & only a few people actually bought anything. I can understand that. I’ve had that happen to me.

Several early 60’s GM convertable.

Bob, I know you're not taking request but when you get to buying parts I'm in need of a very particular piece of trim for my 64' Impala. So keep me in mind if you see any 64' or even 63' convertible chevys.

congrats not only on finding them, but on getting the owner to work with you.
ive found a 75 car load myself, only 20 are mopars but a few are winners/b bodies/rare ones even.
and im going thru the same thing,
the owner actually wanted me to crush them for junk because he was tired of being hounded about them.
ive managed to talk a bit of sense into him and spring is coming...
me showing him what some of this stuff goes for on ebay basically changed his mind.

ps,i still need my holy grail car,a 2 door buick ;)
