VERY NICE ORIGNAL CONDION- NEW TIRES, 4 BARREL CARB, INTAKE, FUEL PUMP AND FILTERS ALL NEW- FACTORY AIR WORKS BUT NEEDS NEW SWITCH- THIS IS A REAL NICE DRIVER BUT NOT A 100 POINT PERFECT CAR, MOTOR RUNS GOOD AND DRIVES NICE ON FREEWAY, BUT THE CAR HAS BEEN STORED IN A GARAGE YOU YEARS AND COULD USE ALL FLUIDS CHANGED. I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM A FAMILY MEMBER HE HAS HADE IT SINCE 1975. BODY IS SOLID BUT DOES HAVE SMALL RUST SPOTS AROUND REAR WHEEL WELLS, FLOORS AND TRUNK ARE PERFECT AS UNDERCARRAGE. PLEASE E-MAIL ME OR CALL 602-256-6478 BEFORE BIDDING WITH ANY QUESTIONS.MILAGE ON THE CAR IS 45,000 + ODOMETER DOESNT WORK BUT PREVIOUS OWNER SAID IT VERY CLOSE TO 50,000. BUYER HAS 7 DAYS TO MAKE PAYMENT AND 2 WEEKS TO PICK-UP.

Most like the nose on the 72/72 Monacos. I REALLY am not fond of the nose and the hideaways.

To each their own, I love this style but the rust repairs may lead to a complete repaint when the paint does not match. So for that reason $4000 max for this car.

The front end makes it a very attractive car.....wish for a bigger motor though......(ducking under desk).

They didnt come with a 4 barrel ... I am certain the Monaco got the 4 barrel on the 400 and 440 in 1972

Actually, the only 400 engine option on the Polara or Monaco was the 2 bbl - you had to go to the 440 to get the 4 bbl. There really isn't much difference in performance between the 360 and 400 engines, they just feel different to drive mostly because the 360 gets the higher stall torque converter and the 400 the lower stall converter. As for the front end, I REALLY like the Monaco front - I think the guy that designed it was a genius. Slam dunk for me.

Always avoided the 72s....thanks for the clarification......

I need to be clear....if i were to locate a 72 polara police car, there is no chance of that car having a 400 with a 4 barrel?

If he kept it up like his lawn, its probably been taking care of.

That picture makes it feel like I'm looking back through time to 1972. The quaint little house, separated concrete driveway, nice little garage out back, and the ~ 59 Ford 4 x4 truck next door etc

I like the front end treatment but I'd pull those bumperttes off
