I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

BTW, Crook Dodge didn't sell the Redeye Hellcat Challenger. Some dealer in a different state got it and sold it. Crook Dodge loaded it on a tractor trailer and shipped it out.

I did contact Dodge Customer Care a couple of times and they didn't seem a bit interested and told me to call the dealership to resolve this problem.

Not surprised however they are supposed to start a file on the concern and contact the Dealer for a response. Then again "Greg" from Bangladesh likely isn't that interested in your problem....

FCA rules dictate that we have Provincial Ownership proof within 2 days of delivery or the Dealership will be charged back all incentives claimed. Dunno how it is done in your State but OMG what a fustercluck of incompetence. Have you spoken to the DMV yet?
So that's why you were hounding me.:D:D

That's exactly why I was "hounding" you yes.....our other customers are asked to put a deposit down which we don't refund until we get the registration....you ..not so much.... :)

It took them 8 weeks to get my tags to me. I started calling two weeks before the temps were to expire. They did fulfill their promises of timeframes .

In Maryland, the dealer gives you the permanent plates and registration the same day as you get the car. I had them transfer the plates and registration from my 300 to the Scat Pack since I renewed the 300 plates and registration 2 weeks prior and I don't pay anything for registration because I'm a 100% disabled Vet. The problem was that they transferred the tags from my 300 to my 300. My fault for not READING the registration.... I just stuck it in the glove box. I discovered a month later when I received a $150 fine for not having insurance on the 300 even though I traded it in a month prior. When I went to the MVA to straighten that out I discovered the error by the dealership. I asked the lady at the MVA to check my Scat Pack VIN for registration and no registration and no title in the Maryland MVA. So I drove the Scat Pack for a month and 1600 miles with no registration, tags, or title. They issued a temporary tag and its been a couple of weeks and I still don't have the registration or title. And on top of that they charged me for registration so they are cutting me a check for a $183 refund. I will NEVER buy another a car from them!!!! There are 4 other Mopar dealers within 30 minutes of me.

Only takes a minute to undo a lifetime of good service IMHO...

I can see why, I'm merely pointing out I had a problem also.

I reached out to the salesman about buying a plum 2019 Challenger that was at Heritage . He had zero interest in selling me another car. My truck wasn't cheap, though I know I got a decent deal on it you'd think they'd wanna sell another car and build a client base. No, these guys are pushing people away. THAT has always been a problem at Chrysler Dealerships .

I bought my first (used 69 Bee) in1971 and second car ( new 73 Ralleye Challenger) in 1973 from Peter's Dodge in Milwaukee. They were a different class of professionals back then. The head guy in the used lot would let us take anything we wanted for a test drive. You should of seen that lot in 1971. Filled with RR's, Dart's, RT's, GTX's, Superbird's, you name it! They had about everything you could of thought of back then. Those were the days!!!!

That sucks that you had a problem in my end of the world too. Buying a car or a truck is a big life event and there shouldn't be ANY problems encountered by anyone during that special moment.

Agree, but I was able to get the truck I wanted, at a good price. There are none of these 2500s around here. I didnt have half the grief that you did, however I knew it was gonna be a problem before it was a problem whereas you had no idea.

And that is why I have been buying cars from the local Ford store. After you get treated like crap at Chrysler dealers and treated well someplace else, that's what happens.

The only Chrysler dealers in the area that I would consider doing business with were shut down.

Graham. Does Mother still work C.D.I. deals or are those dayz gone? Starting in the mid '60s and carrying on into the early 2000s I had the honor and privilege of having many friendz in the corporation that would make the trip with me to the Lease Lotz and do that deal for me. Az with everything else, times change and folks do their 30 and out and move on az my Wife and I did in '14 far from the action in S.E. Michigan but it waz 40 yearz of fun and saving tonz of $ on transportation. I only backed away from one deal in all those yearz because the insurance payments were more then the car payments, lol. My buddies '72 440 6pk. Screamin' Yellow Zonker Charger. Yeah I know Mother never made it but I also that it left Lynch Road Lease Lot in the fall of '71 and raised hell all over Detroit until he turned it in the following fall. Damn I wanted that car but $188 ah month for insurance? The youngsters out there today have only heard whispers about what really killed the muscle carz, Jer

I do know that Mopar made a handful of 1972 440 6 packs that weren't suppose to exist. I believe the engines in those cars were painted blue and not orange.

No unfortunately that program no longer exists Jer. The Corporation has been cracking down hard on Factory Employees and their access to privileged deals etc.
