I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

The SHO system will bolt right in.
Nothing on Borla's site

Should I have the dealer install these just to keep peace next time I need warranty work?
The idea of that nauseates me.

What are you waiting for.
The last time I did a Cat-back system I picked up the car on a Friday and installed it Saturday.

I have been reading up on a mid muffler delete mod on the stock exhaust that is developing better performance results and is suppose to sound better than the Borla ATAK cat back system.

The problem to me is believing these Yo-Boy guys actually know what they are talking about. I'm looking for a few credible performance shops/vendors that verify that this mid muffler delete is better than the Cat back system.

The factory exhaust has the Active Exhaust system on the Scat Packs and Hellcats and are performance engineered. I don't want to trash that system quite yet.

Everything I've seen on the mid-muffler delete just screams hillbilly hack to me. An improperly set up system can lead to an annoying drone issue. The active exhaust is the best of both worlds. Quiet (relatively) at low to moderate throttle, and aggressive at WOT, or sport mode.

I made 4 runs at the dragstrip in Track Mode and it sounds great at 120 MPH at the big end.

hillbilly hack

Hey I resemble that remark!!

I did the mid muffler delete on my hemi Magnum. The idle sound and WOT are great. The cruising down the highway and the MDS kicks in causes a terrible drone. Im just running straight pipe back to the factory resonators. I’ve had several Hellcat customers delete the resonators with good results but it’s loud. The Borla Atak is the best combo I’ve come across and we do it regularly on SRT Grand Cherokee’s.

I used my Mopar bucks in 2010 for the Mopar Performance exhaust. I have yet to hear another metric sound so good, at start up, full throttle and at a cruising speed.

I was at Crook Dodge this week getting an oil change and the tailgate recall fixed on the Ram. I talked to the GM about the title, registration and other problems with the purchase. I said the dealership should give me a cold air intake for all my troubles. GM said we definitely can't do that. I countered with how about selling it to me at cost. He countered with cost plus 10%.

Piss on him....I can get it on the internet cheaper and free shipping.

I seen one Trackhawk at Cecil County Dragway. It was really a race car with license plates.

Roll cage, cam, headers, fabricated exhaust, MSD coils, race injectors, race suspension, and a lot of other mods. Diablo PCM and custom tune. There were too many people around it and could only get a glimpse of under the hood. Hood was either fiberglass or carbon fiber.

Even though it had license plates and wiper blades it showed up on a trailer.
