I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

wish they would finally bring back a low cost no-nonsene car like the orginal Road Runner
There is one.
Base Mustang GT 6 speed and skip all the useless fluff.
Then throw on a Rouse supercharger kit yourself.
Under $40k US.
There's a dealer who will sell you one with the supercharger installed with a warranty for 39.5k

Cheap gasoline, cigarettes, and a gambling casino, first, Peter.

Alright, I sent a request for local dealer to find one. They should get back to me in 24 hours. I did add the back out package, to give them some room.
So I build and priced a base 5.7 Challenger.
Six speed was standard trans 8speed auto was $1500 option (people are dumb). I did add $1 to delete rear seat, but drew the line at $995 to paint the wheels, grill, fuel cap, and dash trim rings black, rattle cans are way cheaper than that.
Not to shabby. Let's see what the blue oval can come up with.

A tick higher for the Ford but I think that is because of destination charge that I never added to Dodge site.

Nevermind it is in there on the Dodge.

For $1330 less I can have a Dodge in my garage.
There is a advertising tag for you.

The 5.0 in the Stang is 460hp the 5.7 in the Challenger is not even 400. You have to step up to the SRT8 to get there and that is mid 40s and a lot of bloat.
Still baffles me that in the US the 6 spd is standard and the auto is $1500, but up here in Canuckistan the auto is standard and there is a $1000 upcharge for the stick
All that tells me is they are selling more autos in US and more manuals in Canada.

The Challenger is a better looking car. The Challenger being down by almost 70 hp and a easy 500lbs. heavier the Ford looks better and better.

List prices are way higher than actual transaction prices. This is especially true at this time of the year.

Your right, dealer emailed me back with a lower price on the '19.
I'm not buying a car anyway/anyhow.
Going back and forth on a new glider for now to retirement.

Any L-Platform Mopar with a 6.1L, 6.2L, or 6.4 L will be worth its weight in gold in 10-15 years. They are going to be the sought after classics of the future. I have been seeing many, many young guns doing everything in their power to own one now. I was shocked at Carlisle to see so many young guns owning these cars already!!!!
