I see a sad story behind this CL ad

We were forced to get a FN Anthrax "live virus" injection also. Wish I didn't get that one.....years later Soldiers revolted against getting that injection.

I wasn't in the rear or pool side. So at the time anything to get an edge on surviving the worst possible attacks made sense.

We got that series of "mandatory" anthrax shots in 1999, which was the year I retired from the AF. On the third shot, I refused it and the remaining shots. I was threatened with punishment, but since I had four months to retirement, I stood fast and refused the remainder of the shots. I have NEVER trusted any shot/immunization given to me over the years I was active duty! Every year I received a flu shot on active duty, I get sick as hell EVERY single time! Since I retired, I have yet to get ANY kind of shot; whether it be flu shots or whatever. Guess what? I've never had the damn flu since! It's gonna stay that way. My doc keeps trying to talk me into the flu shot, and I won't cave in.

It's called building a healthy immune system. I prefer to do that than build the indemnified vaccine manufacturers bottom line.

I only wash my hands after a visit to the restroom or when around food for others.

How many of you grab the little wipe at the food store and "disinfect" the cart / buggy handle?

Never Dave

America has become a society of Howard Hughes .. but not me

Dirt builds the immune system better than the little wipes

You do know that the Army is the "test pig" for next year's flu shot?

Another words...they change the formula every year and try out the flu shot this year on Soldier's that they are going to use on the general public next year. They want to make sure it works and there isn't any side effects. They have been doing that for decades...

They used us (soldiers) in Germany for many social experiments for decades...

Do you remember talk about eliminating the penny from the U.S. currency? Well, in the 1980's they eliminated the penny in the U.S. military in Germany. Everything was rounded up or down to the nearest nickel. As far as I know, they still don't use pennies in Germany.

We were also used to test the Susan B Anthony dollars too. I don't know if those are still used in Germany.

Was there any reports of PTSD from having to use the Anthony dollar?
There were a lot of civilian casualties.

I remember that Episode from the times we still could sneak in the US Burger King in Kaiserslautern, must have been around the early 90s.
