I had my little half-pint AMG at 160 mph earlier this week. It's a 15 year old Mercedes C55. That's a compact C class with a 5.4 liter AMG V8. The computer flash removed the 155 mph limiter so the little guy will run up to 173-175 before it runs out of gears. Not too shabby for a paltry 362 hp.

My runs were on 1/4 mile and a 1/4 mile shutdown. I had to shut it down quickly. I need to go to Texas Motor Speedway to get to the top end limits of both cars on the mile straightway.

I asked if I could pull the charger into victory lane for some photos and they obliged.

You only get a few laps at speed unless you opt for one of the larger and more expensive packages.

I was on track for 32min. 4 8min goes where they let you go faster each lap as you prove capable. The more $, the more time, and more speed.
You have your own spotter coaching you and he controls your rev limiter

I should have asked them what was under the hood, they sounded good. I would imagine old SB2 nascar stuff?
I was allowed to go up to 5400rpm. I was hitting the chip a little at the end looking for more.
