Folks. i cannot recall -- and it may not matter because of year-to-year similarity in stampings -- what year/model fuselage car this was from. i bought it a decade ago. '71 New Yorker is my recollection but i don't know.

i know, not much to go on but y'all are good and getting correct ID's with minimal info. Also, where would part number be located on these fenders?

thanks in advance.

Part numbers on new factory sheet metal are ink stampings so as soon as it's painted, it's gone.

'70-'71 Newport or maybe 300. A '69 would have a side reflector. A NYer would have fancier moldings. But they would all fit.

Look at the SAE # on the side marker, there will be a 70 or 71. That will tell you.

70 and 71 fenders are identical. They share the same part#.

So are the markers. The SAE # only tells you the first year something was used. If it remained in production over multiple years, they don't change the mold. Thus those lights should say 1970, regardless.

Amber light says "70".

would you know that part number Big_John? And did every C (comparably optioned - some had different trim and side lights maybe?) share that part?

ahh, another point. i thought that number changed year to year. i defer to expert opinions on that :)

Look at the marker light on a 1991 Dodge Daytona... it will say 1972. That was a very long lived part. I doubt the PN is the same because by that date they were highlighted in black (72 being chrome). However, the mold was identical.

Your marker would fit any Chrysler (brand) C-body '70-'71 w/o a cornering lamp. It would physically fit on a '69, but the marker hole would be incorrect, and unless you were in Cuba and needed to make do with what washes ashore, I would point at it with disapproval.

3149890 for the front fender.

Same side lights across the models, but there was an optional cornering light that calls for a different fender. I think they all had the trim on the top, but I could be wrong. The side trim will vary.

What....! -69 dont have side markers, only reflectors? Sigh and i like side marker lights :/ :(

Yes, another unique PITA about 69. I like the flush rectangle look of the 69 reflectors best but it's just one more part that can be hard to come by when you need it.

My understanding was they didn't want to use the round 68 side markers on the new designs for 69 so they designed the rectangle reflectors. In 70, the the safety regs changed and required lights, not just reflectors so they changed in 70.

I'm thinking it could be either a 70 New Yorker but not 71 because the chrome was bigger and mounted lower. or it could be 71 Newport or 300 but not 70, in 70 I think Newport had the trim mounted higher and the 300 did not have trim.

I'm not an expert so let the corrections begin

And ofc reflector size is unique and no other marker light fit in -69 fenders?
